Pastor David Miller
David Miller has been pastor of Bellwood Mennonite Church since August 2007. His passion is to see people experience God’s grace and live in the freedom that Jesus Christ offers. Prior to ministry, he played music professionally and later became a National Sales Trainer for a major insurance company consulting firm. In October 2002, he had a “Damascus Road” experience and knew God was calling him to pastoral ministry. He graduated from the Pastoral Ministry program at Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas in 2007. He is married to his best friend Tammy. They have two children, Spencer and Hallie…and a Boston Terrier named Rascal. In his spare time, Dave enjoys reading, listening and playing Bluegrass music, and riding his motorcycle
|Associate Pastor of Youth-Taric Leichty
Taric Leichty has been Bellwood’s Associate Pastor of Youth since February of 2013. He graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University May of 2012 with a degree in Pastoral/Youth Ministry. He grew up in rural Wayland, Iowa where his father farms and mother works at the local high school. he was active in sports, 4-H, and his church youth group while in high school. Taric enjoys spending time with family, friends, and being outside. He accepted the Lord as his Savior in 2002 and has been on an exciting journey ever since. His desire for people of all ages is that they experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ and never forget what God has done for them.
Church Office Assistant Pam Erb is Bellwood’s Office Assistant. She is married to Ron and they have two daughters.
The Elder Board The Elder Board consists of four members elected from the congregation to provide spiritual oversight and guidance to the church body. They also assist the pastor in various responsibilities. Current Elders are: John Goertzen, Brenda Burkey, Russ Roth, and Tim Troyer. They serve a four year term on a rotating basis.
The Church Council The Church Council acts on behalf of the church. The Church Council consists of the Council Chairperson, Pastor, member of the Board of Elders, Ministers of the following: Worship, Education, Missions, Stewards, S.H.A.P.E., Trustees, Church Recording Secretary and any other representative the congregation may choose.
The Board of Stewards The Board of Stewards consists of three stewards and the church treasurer. They provide stewardship education and promotion in the congregation. They plan the budget for the church.
The Board of Trustees The Board of Trustees includes three trustees that maintain and improve all church properties.
